The Autosleeper camper van conversions began in 1961 and since they have manufactured their own Volkswagen camper van conversions based on the trusted right hand drive VW T4 & VW T5 models.

Both Auto Sleeper camper van conversions of the Volkswagen T4 boasted a similar layout to the Volkswagen Westfalia California camper van with units along one side and a forward facing bed /seat unit. The styling could be described as “more soft furnished” with carpet lining throughout and more kitchen facilities.

The Autosleeper Trident became a classic reborn with the great handling of the Volkswagen T5 the 2 berth camper van was brought up-to-date with sleeker lines. The Autosleeper Trooper was not forgotten either for it also saw a fresh new look with the tried and tested low line roof.
